One focused purpose

Links are meant to take you somewhere. Along the way, they can collect extra parameters used to identify campaigns, advertisements and referral sources. Those additions make links longer and harder to read or share.

We built CleanLink to remove widely recognised tracking tags in a controlled, transparent way. The goal is not to change where a link leads; it is to remove familiar forms of tracking clutter while keeping parameters that may matter to the destination.

Designed around three principles

• Clarity. See the cleaned URL and the exact name and value of each parameter removed.
• Restraint. Parameters not explicitly recognised as tracking are retained. Cleaning is not guaranteed to preserve every site-specific behaviour.
• Access. Anyone can use CleanLink without signing up or creating a profile.
